Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We work with organisations to turn good intentions into meaningful action. Our inclusion services are designed to help teams embed inclusion into everyday decision-making—whether that’s in policy, culture, leadership, or design.

We support clients to review and strengthen their diversity and inclusion strategies through practical, evidence-based frameworks. From equity audits and action planning to training and policy review, we help build workplaces and services where people from all backgrounds can thrive.

Our experience spans housing, education, and cultural sectors. We’ve advised institutions such as the University of Kent, where we led EDI strategy across academic divisions, and contributed to national conversations through roles like the LSA Part 4 EDI Advisory Board and speaking at the National Housing Federation's EDI Conference.

We also develop and deliver bespoke training for built environment professionals—such as our “Inclusion in Practice” course on social value in procurement—ensuring that inclusion is not just a statement but a skill.

At 1828, we believe inclusion isn’t a box to tick—it’s a culture to build. We’re here to help you shape that culture with care, integrity, and lasting impact.

Past clients include: National Housing Federation, Chartered Institute of Housing, University of Kent, London School of Architecture, Architects Registration Board
